#2022RoundUp: Day 11: Favorite bestie: Woo Gwang-Nam, Love in Contract
Sang-Eun got along so well with her contract husband Woo Gwang-Nam that the duo decided to become roommates after their divorce. It already sounds fun on paper, but Gwang-Nam’s sexual orientation added another interesting layer. Not only is it pretty progressive in a K-drama, but for once a gay male character was not a flamboyant stereotype the writing could make fun of.
Gwang-Nam was just an ordinary guy who was always there for his best friend and would kick your butt if you dared to lay a finger on her. It is a shame that Sang-Eun was too caught up in her own world to return the sentiment, but I made up for her shortcomings by falling (platonically?) in love with him and rooting for his manag….knight in shining armor to come sweep him of his feet!😘
