More than groundbreaking or never done before, I realised coherence and intelligence is what I desire in a drama. Let it have been presented and reshaped a thousand times before, just make it make sense.

2022 was the year I started a lot of dramas, but also the year I dropped the most. I have less than 10 good shows out of the over 25 I completed (that’s bad in my book because it means I really wasted the squeezed hours I saved for finding joy in entertainment but only got burned).

Socrates said, “Man, know thyself,” but my motto is “Honey, love thyself.”

And in the art of loving myself, I try not to wrestle with my brain or force a connection and love for a drama (or its actors) on myself when there is a disconnect.

That said, as I am officially picking up my first drama of 2023 on Saturday, I hope Crash Course in Romance is the beginning of a good 2023 drama watching experience.

Yes. It will be my first 2023 k drama and I am cautiously excited 🙂 (Meet yourself from
cdrama was off to a great start this year).

I have always been a serial dropper. I drop dramas even at ep 14. Time is too precious and dramas too many!
    Here’s to a good 2023!

2022 was all about loving myself, so I just started the habit of dropping dramas.

Always felt I owed it to the production crews, directors, and writers to see a drama till the end before forming a conclusion.
      But I’m tired.
Hope I can get the courage to be like you @Blue. Lord knows I need it.
