Day 8- The character who most screams for mental health care

I think everyone in Dramaland needs to get their mental health checked out, but I really think that the main leads of Call It Love should really take some time for themselves to heal. In my head, they do because that’s the only way I see a healthy relationship functioning.

They did take a break / time jump. Hopefully got some therapy sessions also squeezed in. 🤣

I hope they did! I think this is the only drama where I wasn’t mad that they took a break/time jump!

I can’t say I appreciated the time skip, after all it was noble idiocy but you’re right it was probably for the best. After being so high key they both needed to calm down and rediscover themselves before they could be together.

Oh, totally agree! I hate time jumps, but with this one I could see that they needed time away from each other, maybe not that much time!, but still they had some healing to do on their own.

I didn’t mind the time apart so much as the misunderstanding which the sister perpetuated. The family forced her to break-up and even after the mother had spoken / tacitly forgiven Dong-jin no one bother to inform her. 🤦‍♀️

@seeker True! I think I need to rewatch because I don’t remember well what happened. I sometimes make myself forget things I don’t agree with or like, which is maybe why I don’t remember this lol. Now that you said it, it clicked and yeah I was a little upset at the end hehe.

The selfishness of the FL’s family was definitely a mis-step in an otherwise perfect drama. Thankfully the brother was supportive.
An amnesia inducing wand for oneself is very useful to continue enjoying K-dramas. 😂
