I’m probably the one with unpopular opinion, but not really feeling connected with Temperature of Love. Something feels off for me.. is it the directing? The writing? The editing? The acting? Or is it just me being cranky in my slump? I’ll wait for another few eps before deciding whether to drop the show or not.

Mmm..interesting. Maybe the 2nd episode will grab you OR make it more clear what’s not hitting the mark for you.
I loved the first episode but I do have reservations on Kim Jae-Wook.
His character reminds me too much of his character in Mary Stay Out All Night. Again being super reserved and likely a lady who’s really feisty.

I feel the same way. Am gonna watch the 2nd episode to decide but the first episode definitely didnt do anything for me. I just couldn’t connect to the romance at all…and the whole black and white editing is strange. I dont think its a slump for me since i wactched age of youth ep 7 and girls generation ep 3 too around the same period of time and i definitely enjoyed them better than the temperature of love.

I found the black and white editing strange and distracting. It’s a directorial decision I guess, but it feels like those moments were forced on me like “this is important and you should remember this moment” whereby I’m content of finding those moments on my own, without them being blatantly shoved on me. Perhaps what I’m looking for is not what the show is giving. I’m watching AoY2 and Girls Generation too and enjoy them much better, especially AoY2.

Glad you enjoyed the first episode. I’ll give the show the benefit of the doubt and will wait for a few more eps 🙂

I have reservations on all the characters, and Kim Jae-Wook scenes are so litttle in the first ep so I couldn’t say much about him yet. I hope he steals the future scenes like he always does with his other dramas!
