Me too! I’ve been getting immersed in C-period dramas lately, hence the waiting list. I’ve watched Ice Fantasy and loved it! But I’m biased to Victoria so you have to approach it with cautious, lol. I’m not a fan of political drama so Nirvana is on hold. You should definitely watch Ten Miles of Peach Blossom, but watch it after Ice Fantasy, otherwise, you can’t find it in you to love any other C-dramas afterward, which is what I’m feeling right now, lol. I’m going to list the what I loved and hated in Ice Fantasy in my next comment.

What I loved in Ice Fantasy:
-The romantic love story between a realm guardian and her prince (main reason I’m watching).
-Brotherhood love (despite having no blood relation), a bond so deep both brothers are willing to die for one another and do everything to achieve the other’s happiness.
-Loyalty and camaraderie forged between the prince and his loyal subjects, whom he treats as equals and friends.
          -Love of family.
-Side stories of the side characters are equally interesting and engaging.

What I hated in Ice Fantasy:
-The less satisfactory end for the main romance which I’ve been rooting from the start. They went through so many trials, and in the end, it isn’t quite a happy ending for them.
-Too much focus on the baddies, I didn’t care much for them and their arc.
-The prince is too weak for his own good, so everyone fought his battle for him (I still love him though).

          What could have been better:
-CGIs and makeup. I have to admit there are times I was sitting there cringing at the CGIs and their melted makeup (especially the main lead), but since the stories were able to engage me, I was able to look past all.
-Ending, I understood the ending, I just didn’t like it. They were trying to make way for sequel, but unfortunately the sequel sucked so bad. I didn’t bother finishing the sequel.

Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms isn’t without its flaws, but it was a great watch for me, I still re-watch it occasionally. I hope you enjoy it! But yeah, finish your report! 😉
