Both past and present storylines are emotionally draining and hard to watch. The only good thing about this scene is it already happened and both mother and daugher survived. Yoon-bok’s story (present) is still happening and while she can still be saved her situation is worse because her mother is her own abuser.

I love Mother but it’s really getting harder to watch, and I don’t think I want to see next week’s episodes. :’(
