This is random, but I’m looking for a new toner for my oily and acne-prone skin. The Benton BHA Aloe Toner I use doesn’t cause a breakout, but I also don’t think it helps much against acne.
This is what I use for the past few months:
– Secret Key Snail Foam Cleanser/CosRX Low pH Good Morning Cleanser
– Benton BHA Aloe Toner
* CosRX BHA Power Liquid once every 3-4 days in the evening
– CosRX Natural BHA A-Sol
– Klairs Supple Preparation Toner
* Tiam C20 serum (vitamin C; only in the evening)
– CosRX Advance Snail 96 Essence
* Sunblock for the day
* Acne mask or sheet mask once every 4-5 days
I’m a CosRX fangirl, lol. Wondering if I should move up the BHA Power Liquid as daily regimen.
No problem, thanks for taking your time to reply! :3 I’ve been to dermatologists a few times, but it was on-and-off. I was not very comfortable with the drugs I had to take. Effective, but I’d like to try things which are safer in general.
Reading my list now I wonder if I use too much BHA products, lol. I also considered CosRX AHA/BHA liquid because I’m also looking to fix the acne scar and brighten the skin. I think vitamin C does a good job on that so far.
Yeah, I mean the pills I drink. Sorry for the confusion 😛 Last time I took antibiotics for around 3 months. I do think it helps to decrease the acne I see these days. Imagine how many bacterias my skin used to have 😡
Ah, I thought she gave you vitamin A pills like retinol or retinoid or other commercial names cause it’s very effictive but must be used with cautious.
Didn’t occur to me that she gave you antibiotics 😋😋
1) innisfree’s Bija line
2) The Ordinary’s Azelaic Acid (not a toner but a cream that I use around twice or thrice a week at night in place of a moisturizer)
I find reissue’s IG account (https://www.instagram.com/re_issue) very informative when mixing and matching skin care products. I also find the reviews posted very helpful when trying new products.
Good luck and I hope you find the right products for yourself.

Good luck with your quest😘😘
I only apply what my dermatologist tells me and alas it is all local products.
Sorry I couldn’t be of any help ❤❤

You’re welcome ❤❤
Yeah it does, and very effectively at that.
When you say” the drugs I had to take ” you mean pills, right??! 😊😊
