Alone and lonely
When I had no mates
You came to my rescue
As a good substitute for dates.

You made me laugh
You made me swoon
When the guy got the girl
I was over the moon.

You made me feel important
You made my happiness double
You made me feel safe
You reduced my trouble.

I thank you sincerely
For coming into my life
You’ll always be a part of me
As I’ll be, your faithful wife.
