KDrama Review of “School 2013” (#14)
5 out of 5 stars on DramaFever
How much I enjoyed it: 9/10
How I rate it: 8/10
This show is one of the most real and accurate portrayals of the struggle that is “School”… for student and teacher alike. As a secondary English teacher myself I felt so deeply the pressure that Teacher Jung and Kang were under. The need to prepare students for their future, but also caring about each and every one as an individual his and her own story full of success and failure, joy and pain. I fell in love with their students with them and desired to carry them in any and every way I could. From bullying to abuse, gossip to examinations, friendship and guidance… this show touches on so many relatable and profound subjects. This show inspired me to be a better teacher and reminded me that it’s the most important job we have in life to challenge one another to serve, forgive, learn, and love unconditionally. So glad I watched this drama, it is definitely a new favorite! Great stories, great cast, great message. Give “School 2013” a watch!

I’ve been eyeing to this ever since a beanie mentioned how closest it depicts the real student struggles.
Will definitely give this a try before another semester starts. I have alot of kdramas I wanted to pick up this vacation tho.
