Choi Byung-chan debuted with the South Korean boy group Victon in November 2016 with the extended play Voice to New World. In 2019, he and his fellow Victon member Han Seung-woo joined the Mnet boy group survival reality show Produce X 101. However, he was forced to exit the program early due to health reasons. In January 2021, Victon released their first full-length album called Voice: The Future Is Now, which debuted at number 4 on the weekly Gaon Album Chart.


Choi Byung-chan made his acting debut in 2020 as one of the main characters in JTBC’s eight-episode series Live On. In 2021, he joined the main cast of the KBS2 sageuk The King’s Affection. In 2022, he played Kim Se-jung’s younger brother in the hit SBS romantic comedy Business Proposal.
