Choi Dae-hoon made his acting debut in the 2002 short film In the Jungle. In 2007, he landed a supporting role in the KBS2 series Mixed-Up Investigative Agency. He also had appearances in KBS2’s Gaksital in 2012 and in tvN’s Crazy Love in 2013. In 2015, he became part of the SBS daily drama The Return of Hwang Geum-bok. In 2018, he was cast in several TV series such as tvN’s Lawless Attorney and SBS’s Heart Surgeons. In 2019, he played Sohn Ye-jin’s older brother in the hit tvN romantic comedy Crash Landing on You. In 2021, he joined the main casts of JTBC’s Beyond Evil and tvN’s Melancholia.
Choi Dae-hoon attended Chung-Ang University’s theater department. He married actress and former beauty pageant title holder Jang Yoon-seo in 2015.
