Choi Hyun-wook made his acting debut in 2019 through the web series Real: Time: Love. In 2020, he starred in another web drama called Pop Out Boy! along with Kim Do-yeon and Kim Min-kyu. In 2021, he played a minor role in the SBS crime thriller Taxi Driver. That same year, he became part of the main cast of the SBS sports drama Racket Boys, which won him Best New Actor at the SBS Drama Awards.
Choi Hyun-wook graduated from Hanlim Arts School.
