Go Kyung-pyo made his debut as an actor in 2010 with a supporting role in the KBS2 youth series Jungle Fish 2. In 2011, he became a cast member of tvN’s Saturday Night Live Korea. In 2013, he appeared in the horror omnibus film Horror Stories 2, which earned him a Best New Actor nomination at the 34th Blue Dragon Film Awards. In 2015, he starred in the movie Coin Locker Girl, which scored him another Best New Actor nomination at the 52nd Baeksang Arts Awards. Also in 2015, he joined the top-rating tvN series Answer Me 1988, which recorded an 18.8 percent nationwide viewership rating for its finale episode. In 2016, he won the New Star Award at the SBS Drama Awards for his work in the workplace romantic comedy Jealousy Incarnate. In 2017, he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the inaugural The Seoul Awards for his performance in tvN’s Chicago Typewriter. That same year, he landed his first leading role in KBS2’s Strongest Deliveryman, in which he was nominated for an Excellence Award at the KBS Drama Awards.


Go Kyung-pyo studied film at the Konkuk University. He enlisted for his mandatory military service in May 2018 and was discharged in January 2020.
