Gu Eun-ae broke into the entertainment industry as a model before branching out into acting in 2012. In 2013, she had a special appearance in tvN’s Dating Agency Cyrano. This was followed by supporting roles in the KBS2 series Angel’s Revenge in 2014 and in I Order You, which aired on SBS Plus in 2015. In 2016, she became part of the KBS2 family weekend series Laurel Tree Tailors. In 2018, she joined the main cast of the OCN drama Mistress, which was based on the British series of the same name.
Gu Eun-ae dated actor Ha Jung-woo from 2008 to 2012. In December 2018, she married her boyfriend, who is a university professor.
