Ha Suk-jin debuted in the entertainment world as a commercial model for Korean Air in 2005. He then forayed into acting through the 2005 dramas Sad Love Story and Princess Lulu. He landed his first movie role in the 2006 comical melodrama See You After School. In 2008, he won the New Star Award at the SBS Drama Awards for the series I Am Happy. He was also nominated as Best New Actor for TV at the 44th Baeksang Arts Awards for his work in the drama. In 2014, he was cast in the MBC weekend series Legendary Witch, in which he earned Excellence Award nominations at the 2014 MBC Drama Awards and the 4th APAN Star Awards. In 2017, he was nominated as Most Popular Actor for TV at the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards for the tvN series Drinking Solo. That same year, he earned a Top Excellence Award nomination at the MBC Drama Awards for the workplace romantic comedy Radiant Office.


Ha Suk-jin is often described as smart and sexy. He was a scholar at the Hanyang University, where he studied mechanical engineering. He is the eldest son of his family.
