Han Bo-bae made her acting debut as a child actress in the 2002 thriller film Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, which won Best Film at the 3rd Busan Film Critics Awards. In 2003, she became part of the smash hit MBC sageuk series Dae Jang Geum, which recorded a peak viewership rating of 57.1 percent. In 2008, she played Choi Jin-shil’s daughter in the MBC drama The Last Scandal of My Life. That same year, she appeared in the KBS1 series My Pitiful Sister, which earned her a Best Young Actress nomination at the KBS Drama Awards. In 2012, she joined the cast of the action film A Company Man. In 2016, she portrayed Park Shin-hye’s half-sister in the SBS medical romance Doctors.
