In 2020, she became part of the MBC series Old School Intern, which was hailed Drama of the Year at the MBC Drama Awards. She was also nominated for an Excellence Award at the MBC Drama Awards for her performance in the series. Later in 2020, she acted alongside Ji Chang-wook and Kim Ji-won in the romance drama Lovestruck in the City, which premiered on KakaoTV.
Han Ji-eun dated rapper Hanhae. They went public with their relationship in August 2019 but parted ways in late 2020.
