Hwang Boreumbyul first came into limelight when she won the 2019 Miss Chunhyang beauty pageant. In 2020, she made her acting debut with main roles in the short film Departure, Sun and in the web series The World of My 17. That same year, she starred in another web drama called Can I Step In? In 2021, she had a cameo appearance in the Netflix sitcom So Not Worth It. She then joined Kim Yo-han, Jo Yi-hyun, and Choo Young-woo in the main cast of the KBS2 youth series School 2021.
Hwang Boreumbyul graduated from Gyeongsan Girls’ High School and then continued her studies at Yeungnam University.
