Jang Seung-jo made his acting debut in 2010 with a supporting role in the film Romantic Debtors. He then landed his first television acting gig in the 2014 OCN series God’s Quiz 4. In 2015, he played supporting characters in a number of television dramas, including the MBC sageuk series Hwajeong and Scholar Who Walks the Night. In 2016, he became part of the main cast of the SBS daily drama Marrying My Daughter Twice, which earned him a nomination for a Special Award at the SBS Drama Awards. In 2017, he acted alongside Jang Hyuk and Park Se-young in MBC’s Money Flower, which won him two Excellence Awards. In 2018, he appeared in the tvN dramas Familiar Wife and Boyfriend. In 2020, he starred in the hit JTBC series The Good Detective.

Jang Seung-jo attended Sangmyung University. He and The Grace member Lina tied the knot in November 2014 after two years of dating. They have two children together.
