Jang Woo-young or simply Wooyoung is a South Korean singer-songwriter and actor born on April 30, 1989. He is a member of the South Korean boy band 2PM. He is also known for his role in the KBS2 series Dream High.

Jang Woo-young debuted with 2PM in 2008 with the song 10 Out of 10. The following year, the group’s second single album titled 2:00PM Time for Change spawned the top-charting track Again and Again. Both songs were included in their first studio album called 01:59PM. In 2011, Jang Woo-young made his acting debut as one of the main cast members of the KBS2 youth musical drama Dream High. The series earned him and IU a Best Couple nomination at the KBS Drama Awards. In 2012, he released his solo debut mini-album titled 23, Male, Single. Aside from his music career, he is also active as a cast member and a judge in several variety and TV competition shows such as KBS2’s Hong Kim Dong-jeon and Mnet’s Street Man Fighter.
Jang Woo-young enlisted for his mandatory military service in July 2018 and was discharged in February 2020.
