Jang Yoon-ju started her entertainment career as a model in 1997. Beginning 2010, she served as the host and main judge of the OnStyle reality television show Korea’s Next Top Model, which was based on the popular American TV program America’s Next Top Model. In 2012, she also hosted the KBS Cool FM radio show Rooftop Radio, which won her Best Radio DJ at the 2013 KBS Entertainment Awards. In 2015, she debuted as an actress in the blockbuster action comedy film Veteran, which scored her nominations for Best New Actress and Best Supporting Actress at the 52nd Grand Bell Awards. In 2021, she bagged the Jury’s Special Award at the Golden Cinematography Awards for her performance in the drama film Three Sisters. Aside from modeling, hosting, and acting, Jang Yoon-ju is also a singer-songwriter with three albums under her belt.
Jang Yoon-ju married her businessman fiancé in May 2015 after dating for five months. She gave birth to a daughter in January 2017.
