Jeon Hye-bin debuted in the entertainment industry in 2002 as a member of the short-lived South Korean girl group LUV. That same year, they dropped their first and only album called Story, which featured their debut song Orange Girl. In 2003, she released her first solo album Love Somebody. In 2005, she released the studio album In My Fantasy.


Jeon Hye-bin appeared in her first TV series in 2003 in KBS2’s Sang-doo! Let’s Go to School! The following year, she made her big screen debut in the horror film Dead Friend and then starred in the 2005 sex comedy Wet Dreams 2. In 2010, she was cast as the female lead in the OCN action sageuk Yacha. In 2014, she joined the main cast of KBS2’s Joseon Gunman, which gave her a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the KBS Drama Awards. In 2016, she acted alongside Eric and Seo Hyun-jin in the hit tvN series Oh Hae-young Again, which scored her another Best Supporting Actress nomination at the 5th APAN Star Awards. She was also nominated for an Excellence Award at the 2016 MBC Drama Awards for her work in Woman With a Suitcase. In 2017, she played a veteran photojournalist in the SBS legal thriller Falsify, which earned her an Excellence Award nomination at the SBS Drama Awards. In 2021, she received yet another Excellence Award nomination at the KBS Drama Awards for Revolutionary Sisters.


Jeon Hye-bin previously dated her Joseon Gunman co-star Lee Jun-ki. In 2019, she married her non-celebrity boyfriend in Indonesia. In 2022, her agency announced that she is pregnant with her first child.
