Jeon No-min made his acting debut in 1997 MBC series Star in My Heart and has since appeared in various television dramas and films. In 2006, he was cast in the SBS drama Love and Ambition, in which he won Best Supporting Actor at the SBS Drama Awards. In 2009, he became part of the hit MBC sageuk drama Queen Seon-deok, which recorded a peak viewership rating of 46.7 percent and also swept the 2009 MBC Drama Awards. In 2012, he won an Excellence Award at the 20th Korea Culture and Entertainment Awards for his work in KBS2’s Gaksital. In 2017, he was cast in the MBC sageuk series Ruler–Master of the Mask, which earned him an Excellence Award at the 10th Korea Drama Awards. In 2018, he took home the Best Supporting Actor trophy at the MBC Drama Awards for the daily drama Secrets and Lies.


Jeon No-min married actress Kim Bo-yeon in 2004. It was the second marriage for both. They divorced in 2012. In 2021, they starred together in the TV Chosun melodrama Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce). Jeon No-min has a daughter from his first marriage.
