Jo Han-chul made his first big screen appearance in 2000 with a bit role in director Lee Chang-dong’s Peppermint Candy. He has since made a name for himself with his memorable portrayals of supporting characters in Korean dramas and films. In 2014, he played a cybercrime detective in the KBS2 action romance drama Healer. In 2017, he transformed into a time traveler in the tvN fantasy romantic comedy Tomorrow With You. In 2018, he was cast as the King in the top-rating tvN sageuk 100 Days My Prince. In 2019, he became part of tvN’s Romance Is a Bonus Book, OCN’s Kill It, and KBS2’s Perfume. That same year, he appeared in the legal film Juror 8. In 2021, he gave life to one of the villains in the tvN dark comedy series Vincenzo. Also in 2021, he had notable appearances in two more tvN dramas, namely Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha and Jirisan.
