Jun Jin debuted as a rapper and dancer in the South Korean boy group Shinhwa in 1998. The group marked their 20th year in 2018, making them the longest-running K-pop group in existence. The sextet has released countless albums and singles over the span of their decades-long career. In 2006, Jun Jin released his debut solo single Love Doesn’t Come.


Jun Jin began his acting career in the 2003 MBC sitcom Nonstop 4. In 2004, he joined the main cast of the KBS2 series Forbidden Love. He also became a regular cast member of MBC’s Infinite Challenge from 2008 to 2009. His work in the program won him a Special Award at the MBC Entertainment Awards. In early 2009, he was paired with actress Lee Shi-young in the MBC reality-variety show We Got Married. In 2017, he starred with Taiwanese actor Vanness Wu in the Chinese film PILI BACK, which marked his big screen debut in China.


Jun Jin enlisted as a public service worker for his mandatory military service in October 2009. He was discharged in November 2011. In September 2020, he married his non-celebrity girlfriend of three years.
