Jung Eui-chul began his entertainment career as a model before making his acting debut in the 2005 SBS series Biscuit Teacher Star Candy. In 2008, he acted alongside Jang Geun-seok and Cha Ye-ryun in the film Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do. In 2009, he played a dual role in the hit KBS2 series Boys Before Flowers. That same year, he appeared in the films Five Senses of Eros and Closer to Heaven. In 2012, he joined the cast of the tvN series Shut Up: Flower Boy Band.
Jung Eui-chul and actress Oh Ye-seol tied the knot in 2016. They met on the set of the drama film My Little Baby, Jaya.
