Jung Geon-joo made his acting debut in 2018 with appearances in several web series and television dramas such as Naver TV’s Flower Ever After and JTBC’s The Third Charm. In 2019, he played one of the main characters in the MBC coming-of-age teen drama Extraordinary You, which earned him a Best New Actor nomination at the MBC Drama Awards. In 2020, he starred alongside Jang Nara in the tvN series Oh My Baby. In 2021, he joined Kim Ji-suk and Jung So-min in the JTBC romance drama Monthly Magazine Home.
