Jung Kyung-ho made his acting debut in the SK Telecom mobile drama 5 Stars in 2004. That same year, he became part of the main cast of the hit KBS2 series I’m Sorry, I Love You, which earned him a Best New Actor nomination at the KBS Drama Awards. In 2007, he starred in the film Herb, which won him Best New Actor at the 15th Chunsa Film Art Awards. In 2009, he was nominated for an Excellence Award at the SBS Drama Awards for his performance in the high-rating weekend drama Smile. In 2013, he led the comedy film Fasten Your Seatbelt, which gave him the Best New Actor trophy at the 34th Golden Cinema Festival. In 2017, he took home the Best Character Award at the MBC Drama Awards for the mystery-thriller Missing 9. Also in 2017, he took on a leading role in PD Shin Won-ho’s Smart Prison Living, which aired on tvN. In 2018, he headlined OCN’s Life on Mars, which was based on the British series of the same name. In 2020, he reunited with PD Shin Won-ho in the tvN series Hospital Playlist and reprised his role in its second season aired the following year.


Jung Kyung-ho graduated from Chung-Ang University with a degree in theater. He enlisted for his mandatory military service in November 2010 and was discharged in September 2012. He has been in a relationship with Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung since 2013.
