Jung Soo-young made her television acting debut in the 2006 MBC romantic comedy Fantasy Couple and has since appeared in mostly supporting and cameo roles in television dramas and films. In 2010, she became part of the movie Harmony, which became the fifth best-selling local film of that year. In 2012, she acted a small role in the fantasy sageuk Jeon Woo-chi. In 2013, she appeared in the hit KBS2 drama Secret. In 2016, she was nominated for a Special Award at the SBS Drama Awards for her role as a sister of Ji Jin-hee’s character in the series Second to Last Love. In 2018, she had supporting roles in the dramas Mysterious Personal Shopper, My Husband Oh Jak-doo, and Fate and Wrath.


Jung Soo-young’s husband is actor Shim Jae-rim.
