Kang Mina is a South Korean singer and actress born on December 4, 1999. She was a member of the South Korean girl groups I.O.I and Gugudan. She is also known for her roles in the television dramas Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter and Moonshine.

Kang Mina participated in Mnet’s reality show Produce 101 in January 2016. She finished in ninth place, making her a member of the show’s project girl group I.O.I. She later debuted as a member of the girl group Gugudan with the extended play Act. 1 The Little Mermaid. She also became part of the group’s subunits, namely Gugudan 5959 and Gugudan SeMiNa.
Kang Mina landed her first acting role in the 2017 MBC series 20th Century Boy and Girl. She then bagged her first leading role in an episode of tvN’s Drama Stage titled History of Walking Upright. In 2018, she joined the main cast of the tvN series Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter. In 2019, she became part of the hit tvN dark fantasy drama Hotel del Luna. In 2021, she played one of the main characters in the KBS2 sageuk Moonshine.
Kang Mina graduated from School of Performing Arts Seoul in 2018.
