Kim Ji-young began acting as a child, making her first appearances in a number of films and TV series in 2011. In 2014, she became part of the hit MBC weekend drama Jang Bori Is Here, which won her multiple Best Young Actress trophies. That same year, she played supporting roles in several SBS dramas including Doctor Stranger. In 2016, she portrayed the young counterpart of Kim Yoo-jung’s character in the popular KBS2 sageuk Moonlight Drawn by Clouds. In 2018, she joined the MBN romantic comedy Devilish Joy and the coming-of-age web series Sweet Revenge 2. In 2019, she appeared in the KBS2 family drama What’s Wrong Mr. Poong-sang. In 2021, she was cast as Jin Kyung’s daughter in JTBC’s Melancholia.
