Kim Ki-bang began his acting career in the 2005 movie She’s on Duty. That same year, he appeared in the hit MBC romantic comedy My Name Is Kim Sam-soon. In 2009, he acted a supporting role in the popular KBS2 series Boys Before Flowers. In 2012, he became part of the MBC medical drama Golden Time, which was followed by roles in Gu Family Book and Medical Top Team in 2013. Also in 2013, he landed his first leading role in the movie Geochang Massacre – Bloody Winter. In 2015, he played the role of a detective in the tvN series Heart to Heart, which starred Choi Kang-hee and Chun Jung-myung. In 2018, he had a role in the SBS romantic melodrama Should We Kiss First.
