Kim Yong-ji started out as a model before bagging her first acting role in 2018 as a mute Japanese fortuneteller in the hit tvN period drama Mr. Sunshine. In 2019, she had cameo appearances in OCN’s Watcher and The Lies Within. In 2020, she joined the SBS fantasy romance The King: Eternal Monarch. That same year, she played a gumiho in the top-rating tvN series Tale of the Nine Tailed. In 2021, she starred as a single mother in the drama film Doom Doom.
