Lee Hee-jin debuted in the entertainment industry in 1997 as one of the original members Baby V.O.X. Their debut album titled Equalizeher was released that same year, but it was their third album, 1999’s Come Come Come Baby, that propelled them to fame. After establishing themselves as one of the most successful “first generation” K-pop groups, they officially disbanded in 2006.

Following Baby V.O.X.’s disbandment, Lee Hee-jin focused on acting. In 2010, she appeared in the SBS series It’s Okay, Daddy’s Girl. She then played a supporting role in the 2011 MBC romantic comedy Best Love. In 2013, she became part of several TV series such as Mnet’s Monstar and MBC’s Medical Top Team. In 2014, she acted alongside Song Chang-eui in the OCN psychological procedural series Dr. Frost. She next joined the hit dramas Woman of Dignity in 2017 and An Empress’s Dignity in 2018.

Lee Hee-jin attended Dong-ah Broadcasting College.
