Lee Yuri first gained attention for her role in the KBS2 teen series School 4, in which she was named Best Young Actress at the KBS Drama Awards. In 2011, she played the villain in the MBC family drama All That Glitters, which won her an Excellence Award at the MBC Drama Awards. In 2014, she once again portrayed the antagonist in the hit MBC series Jang Bori Is Here, which took home the Best Drama citation at the MBC Drama Awards. She also bagged the Daesang at the ceremony. In 2016, she picked up an Excellence Award at the KBS Drama Awards for her twin role in Heaven’s Promise. In 2017, she starred in the KBS2 drama Father Is Strange, which gave her a Top Excellence Award at the KBS Drama Awards. In 2018, she received another Top Excellence Award at the MBC Drama Awards for her work in Hide and Seek.


Lee Yuri married a missionary theologian in September 2010. They met during a bible study in 2008 and began dating the following year.
