Park Ji-bin began acting as a child, first appearing in the musical Tommy in 2001. In 2003, he became part of the SBS series Perfect Love, which won him Best Young Actor at the SBS Drama Awards. In 2005, he starred in the drama film Hello, Brother, which earned him the Best Actor trophy at the 1st New Montreal FilmFest. That same year, he was once again named Best Young Actor, this time at the KBS Drama Awards for his work in Golden Apple and in the Drama City episode Goblins Are Alive. In 2007, he played the young counterpart of Lee Seo-jin’s titular character in the MBC sageuk Yi San. His performance in the series scored him another Best Young Actor citation at the MBC Drama Awards. In 2009, he joined the hit KBS2 drama Boys Before Flowers. In 2018, he was cast in MBC’s Bad Papa, which gave a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the MBC Drama Awards.


Park Ji-bin enlisted for his mandatory military service in May 2015 and was discharged in February 2017.
