Park Ji-hoon achieved fame for his participation in the second season of Mnet’s Produce 101 in 2017, where he finished second. This earned him a spot in the show’s derivative boy group Wanna One. They debuted in August 2017 with the extended play 1×1=1 (To Be One). In October 2018, the group dropped their first studio album called 1¹¹=1 (Power of Destiny). After the group’s disbandment in December 2018, Park Ji-hoon released his debut solo extended play O’Clock featuring the lead single L.O.V.E. In November 2020, he released his first studio album Message.


Prior to his appearance in Produce 101, Park Ji-hoon first debuted as a child actor. His initial works include the blockbuster sageuk Jumong and the sitcom Kimchi Cheese Smile, which both aired on MBC. He also participated in musicals such as Peter Pan and The Harmonium in My Memory. In 2019, he joined the main cast of JTBC’s Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency. In 2020, he was cast as the male lead in KakaoTV’s teen drama Love Revolution. In 2021, he starred in the KBS2 coming-of-age series At a Distance, Spring Is Green, which earned him a Best New Actor nomination at the KBS Drama Awards.


Park Ji-hoon graduated from School Performing Arts Seoul and then continued his education at Chung-Ang University’s theater department.
