Park Ji-yeon debuted as a musical theater actress in the 2010 Korean production of Mamma Mia! In 2013, she played Eponine in the Seoul run of Les Miserables, which won her two Best New Actress trophies. In 2015, she landed her first screen role in the tvN series Oh My Ghostess. In 2017, she had appearances in the KBS dramas Andante and Mad Dog. In 2019, she became part of the SBS sageuk Haechi. In 2021, she had a guest role in the second season of the hit tvN series Hospital Playlist. In 2022, she joined the main cast of the KBS2 sageuk Red Heart, which was followed by another main role in the Netflix series A Model Family.


Park Ji-yeon majored in acting at the Seoul Institute of the Arts.
