Park Shi-shoo started out as an underwear model and a theater actor before making his official small screen debut in the 2005 KBS2 romantic comedy Delightful Girl Chun-hyang. In 2007, he became part of the SBS series How to Meet a Perfect Neighbor, which won him the New Star Award at the SBS Drama Awards. In 2008, he landed his first leading role in the SBS weekend drama Family Honor, which earned him an Excellence Award at the SBS Drama Awards. In 2010, he starred in two romantic comedies, namely Prosecutor Princess and Queen of Reversals. His performance in the latter scored him an Excellence Award at the MBC Drama Awards. In 2011, he led the hit KBS2 sageuk The Princess’s Man, opposite Moon Chae-won. He received numerous awards for his work in the drama, including a Top Excellence Award at the KBS Drama Awards. In 2017, he headlined the top-rating KBS2 family series My Golden Life, which gave him an Excellence Award at the KBS Drama Awards.


In 2013, Park Shi-hoo was accused of sexual assault by a 22-year-old aspiring actress. However, no verdict was reached after the complainant dropped her charges against the actor.


Park Shi-hoo’s father Park Yong-hoon used to be a model. His young brother Park Wu-ho played for the Hyundai Unicorns.
