Shin Hyun-soo began his career on stage before landing his first TV acting role in OCN’s My Beautiful Bride in 2015. In 2016, he played supporting roles in the first and second seasons of the MBN drama Thumping Spike. Also in 2016, he joined JTBC’s Age of Youth and reprised his role in its second season, which aired the following year. He also appeared in the MBC sageuk Ruler—Master of the Mask and in the top-rating KBS2 family drama My Golden Life. In 2018, he starred opposite Han Seung-yeon in Channel A’s romance series Twelve Nights. In 2019, he was cast as one of the main leads in the JBTC series Woohoo Waikiki 2. In 2021, he acted alongside Jung Il-woo and Yuri in the hit MBN sageuk Bossam: Steal the Fate.


Shin Hyun-soo attended Dong Seoul University. He previously dated actress Jo Woo-ri.
