Shin Ye-eun debuted as an actress in 2018 through the hit web series A-Teen and reprised her role in its sequel that aired the following year. Also in 2019, she landed her first leading role in the tvN series That Psychometric Guy, which won her the Star of the Year Award at the 12th Korea Drama Awards. In 2020, he was paired with L in the KBS2 fantasy romantic comedy Welcome, which earned her the Best New Actress trophy at the KBS Drama Awards. That same year, she acted alongside Ong Sung-woo in the JTBC romantic drama More Than Friends.
Shin Ye-eun graduated from Anyang Arts High School and continued her studies at Sungkyunkwan University.
