Sohn Na-eun debuted as a member of the South Korean girl group Apink in April 2011 with the extended play Seven Springs of Apink. Later that year, they were named Best New Female Artist at the 13th Mnet Asian Music Awards held in Singapore. In May 2012, they dropped their first Korean studio album Une Année. In August 2015, they released their debut Japanese full-length album Pink Season. In April 2021, the group marked their 10th anniversary with the digital single Thank You. That same month, Sohn Na-eun parted ways with her longtime agency Play M Entertainment but remains as a member of Apink.


Sohn Na-eun made her acting debut in the 2012 SBS sageuk series The Great Seer. That same year, she landed her first big screen role in the comedy film Marrying the Mafia 5. In 2013, she was paired with SHINee’s Taemin in MBC’s We Got Married, which won her the Star of the Year trophy at the MBC Entertainment Awards. In 2016, she starred in the tvN romantic comedy Cinderella and the Four Knights. In 2020, she acted alongside Song Seung-heon and Seo Ji-hye in the MBC romance drama Will You Have Dinner With Me, which earned her a Best New Actress nomination at the MBC Drama Awards. In 2022, she joined the main cast of the tvN medical-fantasy series Ghost Doctor.


Sohn Na-eun attended Dongguk University’s theater and film department. Her younger sister Sohn Sae-eun is a professional golfer.
