Sohn Sang-yeon debuted in the entertainment industry in 2016 as a cast member of the Tooniverse variety program Maknae Show 7. He then expanded his career into acting by initially portraying the young counterparts of main characters in several TV series, such as MBC’s Chicago Typewriter and SBS’s Suspicious Partner. In 2019, he was cast as lead in the web dramas Failing in Love and Triple Fling. That same year, he starred in the drama film The Fault Is Not Yours. In 2021, he joined the main cast of the SBS sports drama Racket Boys, which won him Best New Actor at the SBS Drama Awards. He next appeared in the hit 2022 Netflix zombie series All of Us Are Dead.
