Solbin debuted with the South Korean girl group Laboum in 2014 with the single album Petit Macaron featuring the song Pit-A-Pat. In 2015, they were nominated for the New Artist Award at the Seoul Music Awards. In 2019, they released their first Japanese full-length album Love Pop Wow, which was followed by their debut Korean studio album Two of Us.


Solbin made her acting debut in 2016 with roles in KBS2’s The Sound of Your Heart and JTBC’s Solomon’s Perjury. In 2017, she became part of the SBS fantasy romance Reunited Worlds and the OCN fantasy rom-com Meloholic. In 2020, she played Kim Yoo-jung’s younger sister in the SBS series Backstreet Rookie. In 2021, she made a special appearance in MBC’s Oh! Master, which earned her a Best New Actress nomination at the MBC Drama Awards. That same year, she starred in the JTBC music drama Idol: The Coup.
