Woo Hee-jin got her start in the entertainment industry as a model. She made her acting debut in the late 1980s and has since been active on both the big and small screens. She rose to prominence after appearing in the 1994 KBS2 campus drama Feelings. In 1996, she joined the main cast of the hit MBC sitcom Three Men, Three Women. In 2002, she became part of the widely popular MBC daily drama Miss Mermaid, which won her an Excellence Award at the MBC Drama Awards. In 2014, she starred in a KBS Drama Special episode titled Playing Games, which earned her a Best Actress nomination at the KBS Drama Awards. That same year, she played supporting roles in MBC’s Jang Bori Is Here and in KBS2’s Healer. In 2016, she appeared in the SBS sageuk Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. In 2018, she was nominated for a Top Excellence Award at the SBS Drama Awards for the daily series I’m the Mother, Too.
