Yang Kyung-won began his acting career on stage before making his screen debut in the 2015 SBS sageuk Six Flying Dragons. In 2017, he had appearances in KBS2’s Fight My Way and tvN’s The Liar and His Lover. In 2019, he became part of the tvN historical fantasy drama Arthdal Chronicles. Also in 2019, he was cast as a North Korean soldier in the popular tvN romantic comedy Crash Landing on You, which earned him a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards. In 2021, he reunited with Song Joong-ki in the top-rating tvN dark comedy Vincenzo. That same year, he joined Coupang Play’s One Ordinary Day.
