Yoo Da-in debuted as an actress in 2005 through the SBS dramas Biscuit Teacher Star Candy and Love Needs a Miracle. That same year, she became part of the movie The Beast and the Beauty. In 2010, she landed her first leading role in the indie film Re-encounter. The movie won her several acting awards, including Best Actress at the 13th Asian Film Festival held in France. In 2012, she starred opposite Yeon Woo-jin in Just an Ordinary Love Story, a four-episode drama under KBS2’s Drama Special Series. She was named Best Actress at that year’s KBS Drama Awards for her work in the said short drama. In 2016, she appeared in the SBS’s Doctors as well as in MBC’s One More Happy Ending and Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-ju. In 2021, she led the film I Don’t Fire Myself, which gave her the Best Actress trophy at the 38th Fajr International Film Festival in Iran.
