Yoon Eun-hye debuted in the entertainment industry in 1999 as a member of the South Korean girl group Baby V.O.X. She has several albums with the group including 1999’s Come Come Come Baby, which produced the hit singles Get Up and Killer. She left the group in 2005 following the expiration of her contract with DR Entertainment.


In 2006, Yoon Eun-hye starred as the female lead in the popular MBC romantic comedy Goong, which catapulted her to widespread fame. She was named Best New Actress at the MBC Drama Awards for her performance in the series. Also in 2006, she won another Best New Actress trophy at the KBS Drama Awards for The Vineyard Man. In 2007, she played a male barista in disguise in MBC’s hit series Coffee Prince, which gave her the Best Actress trophy at the 44th Baeksang Arts Awards. In 2011, she received a Top Excellence Award nomination at the SBS Drama Awards for her work in Lie to Me. In 2012, she made her directorial debut with the short film The Knitting. That same year, she was paired with Park Yoochun in MBC’s I Miss You, which scored her another Top Excellence Award nomination at the MBC Drama Awards.


Yoon Eun-hye finished her undergraduate studies at Kyung Hee Cyber University and then attended Chung-Ang University to pursue a master’s degree. In 2015, she was accused of plagiarism for the outfits that she designed on a Chinese TV show. She has since issued an official apology over the issue.
