Yoon Jin-yi debuted as an actress in the 2012 SBS romantic comedy A Gentleman’s Dignity. Her performance in the series won her numerous citations such as Best New Actress at the Korea Drama Awards. In 2013, she joined the KBS2 sageuk thriller Mandate of Heaven. In 2014, she became part of Discovery of Romance, which also aired on KBS2. That same year, she made her big screen debut in the comedy-drama film We Are Brothers. In 2016, she appeared in the MBC family drama All’s Well With a Happy Home. In 2018, she acted alongside Choi Su-jong and UEE in KBS2’s My Only Ally, which earned her the Best Supporting Actress trophy at the KBS Drama Awards. In 2021, she was cast in the hit KBS2 family series Young Lady and Gentleman.
Yoon Jin-yi studied at Sejong University. She married her non-celebrity boyfriend in October 2022.
