Yoon Sun-woo debuted as an actor in 2003 with appearances in the film The Circle and in the EBS children’s drama Environment Sentai Genta Force. After a long absence from the screen, he made a comeback in 2010 with roles in the movie Bang! and in the OCN series God’s Quiz. In 2013, he played a prosecutor in the blockbuster comedy-drama film Miracle in Cell No. 7. In 2014, he became part of the KBS2 daily drama TV Novel: Single-minded Dandelion. In 2016, he was cast as 9th Prince Wang Won in the SBS sageuk Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. He then portrayed supporting roles in Reunited Worlds and Thirty But Seventeen, which aired on SBS in 2017 and 2018, respectively. In 2019, he starred in the KBS1 daily series Home for Summer, which earned him an Excellence Award nomination at the KBS Drama Awards. That same year, he joined the SBS sports drama Stove League, which was named Best Drama at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards. In 2020, he reunited with his Stove League co-star Namgoong Min in tvN’s Awaken.
